Baby Animals
All children love baby animals, especially the baby children! Your youngest ones and the whole family will love seeing the orphaned baby elephants at the David Sheldrick Trust in Nairobi. Nothing is quite as delightful as feeding time when the small fry elephants drink from their giant baby bottles, followed by a frolic in the mud.
Now you may have heard of the Great Migration, but did you know that a very special time in this migrating cycle is the birthing season in the Serengeti? Up to 8,000 newborn wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle, are born on the lush fields of the Ndutu region. Imagine the sight of these animal newborns stretching out to the horizon.
